SIOUXIES (a brand distributed by AEXIOS, Paris) operates on a made-to-order, drop-shipped model: each piece is dispatched from a partner workshop without dedicated stock. This policy is compliant with French and European consumer law (French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU) while adapted to our model.
1. Statutory right of withdrawal — Article L221-18
You have a statutory period of 14 days from the date you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, except for the exceptions listed in Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
2. Exception applicable to swimwear (Article L221-28, 8°)
Pursuant to point 8° of Article L221-28, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods unsealed for reasons of hygiene or health protection after delivery.
Every SIOUXIES swim piece ships with a hygiene sticker. Once that sticker has been removed or the item has been tried on without its original sanitary protection, the piece can no longer be returned or refunded.
Items with the hygiene sticker fully intact may be returned within 14 days of receipt, in their original packaging and in perfect condition (unworn, unwashed, unscented).
3. Cases giving rise to a full refund
Independently of the right of withdrawal, we will issue a full refund in the following cases:
- Non-delivery: your parcel was not delivered within a reasonable timeframe (after we verify the carrier tracking on our side).
- Wrong item shipped: the reference or size received does not match what you ordered.
- Manufacturing defect: a faulty seam, fabric or structural defect noted upon receipt (statutory warranty of conformity, French Consumer Code Articles L217-3 and following).
4. Claim procedure
- Email with: your order number, a description of the issue, and 2-4 clear photos (item received, label, hygiene sticker if still in place, close-up of the defect if relevant).
- Our customer service reviews your file within 3 business days.
- Once approved by our team, you will receive return instructions by email. Returns are free (prepaid label provided).
- The full refund is issued to your original payment method only after we receive and verify the returned item at our logistics partner, within a maximum of 14 days after receipt.
5. No unsolicited returns
Any return shipped without prior agreement from cannot be processed and will be at your own cost.
